About Soumitra Ghosh

Soumitra Ghosh is a Senior Private Sector Advisor on the SHOPS Plus project focusing on the strengthening of social marketing programs. He has 33 years of combined experience working with for-profit as well as nonprofits on building and managing organizations , health programs, business strategy planning, and marketing and behavior change, of which the last 18 years were dedicated to innovation-led public health programs. Ghosh has successfully led public-private partnerships, market-based partnerships, and social marketing and social franchising initiatives targeting poor, remote, underserved populations in rural areas and urban slums across Asian and African sub continents. He has a master's degree in economics and an MBA.
