About Bindu Khera

Bindu Khera is the Communications Manager for the SHOPS Plus project in India. She has 15 years of experience in the development sector as well as television, production, and advertising. Her background includes working as social and behavior change specialist where she developed communication strategies and evidence-based campaigns on reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health. Khera was also a documentary and non-fiction film maker, and worked as a strategic planner in advertising. She has experience working on USAID-funded projects and with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Khera has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in psychology both from Punjab University.
