He previously worked as an accountant, managing multiple donor funds to ensure finances were utilized according to agreed-upon contracts. James holds an advanced diploma in accountancy from the College of Business Education and an MBA with a focus on corporate management from the University of Mzumbe in Dar es Salaam.
