Report on the Development and Testing of Youth-friendly Health Services Provider Behavior Change Communication Resources

SHOPS Plus adapted the PSI Provider Behavior Change Communication toolkit to focus on youth-friendly health services. The toolkit was piloted in Uganda where unmet need for contraception among youth is high. SHOPS Plus organized special “youth days” at participating clinics where providers practiced their counseling skills with youth, with observation from provider behavior change communication agents. The insights gathered were used to inform the finalization of the toolkit.
