Blueprint for Action: A Decade of Saving Children's Lives

From 2005 to 2015, Abt Associates engaged with the private health sector through two USAID-funded projects: POUZN (Social Marketing Plus for Diarrheal Disease Control: Point-of-use Water Disinfection and Zinc Treatment) and SHOPS (Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector). Both projects improved access to and use of ORS and zinc as the first-line treatment for acute diarrhea. This publication outlines the approaches, research results, and achievements.
