Improve the technical, institutional, and financial sustainability of ASMO

SHOPS Plus provides technical assistance to the Afghan Social Marketing Organization (ASMO) to improve their evidence-based, decision-making skills, inform the design of their programs, and build their organizational capacity in areas such as governance, communications, and financial controls. The project is also working with ASMO to develop its strategy and new business development plans to improve the organization’s sustainability. In the absence of other significant private sector health actors in Afghanistan, ASMO’s sustainability is linked to sustaining supplies of health products to those currently obtaining these products from private sector sources.
